For more than a decade, Tasmania has maintained net zero emissions, making it one of only a handful of industrialised jurisdictions in the world to achieve this milestone. It’s a position built on generations of investment in renewable energy and the responsible management of natural resources.

But net zero is not the finish line.

As Australia works towards a lower-emissions future, Tasmania has an opportunity to contribute far beyond its own needs by supplying renewable energy that supports industry, economic growth and decarbonisation across the nation.
